Payroll Manager

I am currently looking to recruit for a Payroll Manager to lead a small payroll team on a permanent basis based in the Warrington area.

The salary will be £50k to £55k depending on experience and the working week will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process and team, including payroll data, issuing payslips, P45's/P60's, resolving queries, pension administration, time and attendance management.
  • Co-operate with external auditors for all payroll and pension queries.
  • Staying up to date with all relevant payroll and pension legislation
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and employment terms.
  • Implement service improvements and maintain payroll systems.
  • Liaise with auditors and HMRC as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Payroll Management role
  • Proficient in complex data handling and spreadsheet skills.
  • High-quality customer service commitment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and provide high-quality customer service.
