Job Role
- Work within the inpatient area and a busy Outpatient Dressings Clinic.
- Develop wound care skills and deliver an excellent nurse-led service.
- Care for pre-op patients, post-op patients, and dressing clinic patients.
- Prepare and care for children undergoing plastic or maxillofacial surgery.
- Support children with burns injuries in the outpatient dressing clinic.
- Support parents whose children are undergoing surgery.

Essential
- Experience with acute/chronically sick children or specialized transferable skills
- Understanding of professional and current issues in children's nursing
- Understanding of the importance of research and evidence-based practice
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of safeguarding issues per Trust policies and procedures
- Understanding or evidence of fulfilling requirements for Revalidation
- Understanding of clinical governance principles (e.g., risk management, audit, quality)
- Experience working as part of a diverse team
- Experience contributing to an inclusive workplace culture
