Description
The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for:
- Setting up client payrolls
- Manage payroll processes on behalf of clients and ensure accurate calculations of wages, deductions and benefits.
- CIS
- Auto Enrolment Pensions
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
- Use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Profile
The successful Payroll Clerk should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role
- Proficiency in payroll software.
- Strong knowledge in payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Excellent numerical abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to resolve payroll queries.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
