Senior Buyer
Hybrid | Salisbury | £45k-50k
SR2 is recruiting for an aviation company, who are looking for a Senior Buyer to join them. This company works on the highest spec of innovative engineering; they are paving the way in their field and are currently experiencing exponential growth. In the role of Senior Buyer, day to day, you will be sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to meet operational requirements.
Alongside these tasks you will also be supporting with managing team members to ensure processes are efficiently completed to allow for an effective and transparent overall procurement life cycle.
Due to continual growth, the company is continuing to expand and will be bringing on over fifty new employees. This is an exciting time to join as the company grows, as you are helping to define what their future in procurement looks like.
Key requirements:
- Proven purchasing experience.
- Experience in aviation or manufacturing environment
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially aware
Package:
- £45,000 - £55,000
- 15% annual bonus (up to)
- Hybrid - 3 days onsite in Salisbury
