Due to internal progression, Brockenhurst College has an opportunity available for an Enrolments & Admissions Administrator to join their team**.** You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis offering a competitive salary of £22,071 - £22,429 pro-rata, depending on experience.

This job is a 0.4 FTE contract, comprising of 15 hours per week. Working days/times can be agreed with line manager but will need to be worked within Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30.

Wessex Education Shared Services (WESS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brockenhurst College. We provide a wide range of services to the College including financial management, payroll, human resources, examinations, student records and data returns processing and IT Software development.

Responsibilities as the Enrolments / Admissions Administrator will include:

  • Completeness and accuracy of all aspects of learner records.
  • Accurate and timely processing of all learner data transactions such amendments to learner data including courses, amendments to learner timetables.
  • Assisting with the coordination of the student admissions journey
  • Close working with the rest of the MI & Data team in order to ensure the delivery of a high quality, compliant and data focused service
  • Compliance with college and learner data related policies
  • While a good mix of skills is required to perform the job, more important is having the ability to learn, take ownership and drive to improve processes.

What we are looking for in our Enrolments / Admissions Administrator:

  • Level 2 qualifications (5+ GCSEs or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
  • GCSE passes or equivalent including Maths and English.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment or other similar customer facing role
  • Previous experience of delivering good customer service
  • Ability to provide a good customer experience
  • Ability to provide initial advice and guidance as appropriate
  • Computerised Systems.
  • A sound operational knowledge of structured transactional/administration processes and systems
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly word and Excel
  • Problem Solving skills
