Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a heart for helping those experiencing homelessness find their pathways to a brighter future? If so, we have an exciting temporary opportunity for you! We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and provide essential support to individuals navigating through homeless pathways. This role offers a chance to be a part of a compassionate and dedicated team, making a real impact in the community.

  • Empower individuals experiencing homelessness to access support services and resources
  • Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for those in need
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality care and assistance

Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical support and guidance to individuals accessing homeless pathways
  • Advocate for clients and assist in their journey towards stability and independence
  • Collaborate with external agencies and community partners to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans tailored to individual needs

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar support role within the homeless sector
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond effectively to changing needs
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting vulnerable individuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Certification in Mental Health First Aid
  • Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
