Location: Randox Ardmore, 55 Diamond Road, Antrim, BT29 4QY.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Molecular Product Specialist role involve?

This role is responsible for sales and promotion of Randox's Molecular products throughout France and the Benelux region. Working closely with the field-based sales team, this person will be expected to increase sales by developing business with current customers as well as winning new business.

In addition, the successful applicant will:

  • Contribute to the company's overall growth and profitability of molecular EQA and Randox Laboratories Biochip platforms - Vivalytic and Randox Discovery.
  • Customer development, identifying and winning new sites where QCMD/Qnostics/Vivalytics can be sold.
  • Responsible for supporting Sales Reps in generating and converting sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for providing excellent specialist customer support.
  • Responsible for forecasting of products.
  • Conduct customer seminars, presentations, and demos throughout the territory.
  • Frequent travel throughout the territory to conduct visits with the sales team to ensure the sales target is met.
  • Meeting deadlines and prioritising work procedures.

Full on the job training will be provided on our processes.

Who can apply?

This role would suit someone with previous sales experience, or someone who is currently working in a lab environment with a strong desire to join a growing sales team.

Other Essential criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Biochemistry, Chemistry or a Life Science discipline.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to travel extensively to the target markets.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with high-level business partners.

Desirable:

  • Proven track record in sales within a science background would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Molecular testing and a familiarity with molecular/microbiology workflows.
  • Experience in working to and achieving targets.
  • Business-level in the French language and/or other local languages (Flemish/Dutch).
  • Possess a full driving license
