As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdooris joined by _Runners Need_and Snow + Rockto support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
How will you make an impact?
- Managing the category intake calendar and order book
- Support the Merchandiser with range planning, weekly/monthly trading reviews, and WSSI trading
- Delivering analysis of lessons learned
- Owning the planning for a small category/initiative
- Re-forecasting orders, ensuring suppliers are aware of expected demand and that they will have the correct quantities available
- Managing the allocation setup to maximise the return on stock already in the business
- Supporting the Merchandiser with supplier trading meetings
- Ensuring deliveries are processed effectively by the Merchandising Assistant
- Deputising for the Merchandiser
- Supporting the Merchandiser in specific projects that drive continuous improvement within the department and wider Merchandising function
- Supervising the Merchandising Administration Assistant
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.
You'll fit right in if you have:
- Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merchandising Administrator
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to interpret numbers to create a clear picture
- Some experience planning a product area
- Experience with forecasting and using WSSI stock management tools
