Are you a detail-oriented HR Officer looking to make a significant impact in the educational sector? Reed HR is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join an award-winning team within an Academy based in Birmingham to enhance their dynamic HR team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Salary: £30,295 - £36,648 per annum
Contract: Fixed term, 12-month maternity cover
Location: Birmingham
Working pattern: Term time only plus two additional weeks to be worked in the school holidays.
As a HR Officer, you will provide the delivery of a proactive, effective and efficient day to day HR service for the academy, undertaking duties across a range of HR activities including payroll and data management/reporting, compliance, recruitment and selection and HR Policy guidance and associated HR administration. You will also provide support to academies across the Region's network when required.
Your Role:
- Deliver a proactive and efficient HR service, handling payroll, data management, compliance, recruitment, and policy guidance.
- Support the HR Manager, HR Assistant, and People Business Partner in fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Offer HR support across the regional network of academies.

Requirements:
- CIPD level 5 or above
- Background in HR within a school environment (desirable).
- Payroll experience
- A team player who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced school setting.
- An organised individual committed to their vision, providing excellent customer service.
- Experience with HR databases.
