Position: SEN Teacher

Daily Rate: £153 - £220
We are seeking a committed and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist school in Doncaster, serving students with diverse needs, including ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with complex needs and will be devoted to delivering high-quality education and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement tailored lessons and interventions to address the unique needs of students with ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, and other complex needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and promotes progress.
Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to create and execute personalised learning plans.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers regarding their development.
Adapt and apply strategies to assist students with a variety of challenges, including sensory processing issues, communication difficulties, and behavioural concerns.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a special school environment.
Expertise in working with students who have ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, or other complex needs.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions tailored for students with diverse needs.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
This is a full-time role commencing in September, offering a competitive daily rate of £153 - £220, depending on experience.
