Job Title: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support for Child with Additional Educational Needs)
Location: Maidenhead (The school is located in a rural area, it is paramount that you are a driver for this role)
Job Type: Part-Time, 14 hours per week, Term Time Only
About the Role: KiddyKare is seeking a compassionate and professional teaching assistant to join a friendly village school in Maidenhead. This position involves providing 1:1 support for a child with additional educational needs, helping them achieve their best in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to the teacher in the classroom.
- Assist children with their educational and personal development needs.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the needs of the children and the school are met.
- To organise and support the named child in all areas of the school.
- Know and understand all aspects of the child's individual targets and play a proactive role in supporting them in meeting their targets
Requirements:
- A good understanding of safeguarding.
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- Ability to work well in a team and use your initiative.
- Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous teaching assistant experience is desirable.
