Setting Out Engineer, Temporary, Location Arbroath, Scotland, Rate £300 - £350 per day DOE and if you have your own kit.

In this Setting out Engineering job role, You will be working on a new cycle path scheme based in Arbroath. You will work with a company who has an excellent reputation for delivery. Your new role
As a Setting out Engineer you will have over 5 years' experience with a main contactor and be capable in Setting out all aspects of groundworks, concrete bases, piles and drainage. You will have a strong background in surveying, civil works, reports, planning of works and can read technical drawings. You will be well versed with Auto CAD software and be capable using a robotic total station. This role will require you to be knowledgeable of UK Health & Safety requirements.
Main Duties include:
- Undertake Surveying and Setting out duties.
- Check drawings & quantities.
- Ordering material
- Planning and organising site activities to meet with the programme of works.
- Always promote a safe culture on site
- Supervise and monitor site labour / sub-contractors.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Must hold a valid CSCS Card
- Must hold a valid SMSTS or SSSTS certificate
