IT Project Coordinator

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to appoint a lead IT Project Coordinator to manage varying demands and requests for IT needs on the site, allocating such requests and projects to the relevant parties (e.g. internal IT or 3rd Party).

The role requires a highly organised IT Project Coordinator with excellent understanding of IT terminology, project delivery and resource allocation.

  • This role is based on-site in Stevenage, Monday - Friday - so only local candidates within a sensible commuting distance will be considered*

Role Requirements

  • Act as the 'central funnel' for all IT initiatives, requests and needs
  • Track and manage IT project progress and update stakeholders accordingly
  • Provide robust daily standup updates through to completion
  • Utilise Project Management tracking software to both track and update key personnel
  • Manage escalations and problem-solve where required
  • Ensure IT needs are effectively provisioned
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of live IT projects, needs and upcoming requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience as an IT Project Coordinator/Manager
  • Extremely organised, diligent and strong communication skills
  • Experienced in using Project Management/tracking software (e.g. DART, Jira)
  • Knowledge of escalation protocols and processes
  • Able to work on-site Monday-Friday
