IT Apprentice

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Salary:
£15,065.04 per annum.

Responsibilities: [includes but is not limited to providing:]

  • PC desktop 1st line end user support
  • Site IT hardware and mobile device maintenance and support
  • Infrastructure administration
  • Hardware Asset Management
  • Support new system implementation

What we are looking for:

To be successful within Information Systems, it's essential you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to speak another language would be advantageous
  • An enthusiastic approach to personal development and continuous learning
  • Capable of / comfortable with interacting with staff at all levels, using a variety of communication methods
  • A flexible approach to challenges and changes
  • Ability to react quickly and use initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload on occasions

A qualification in ICT / programming skills is desirable, but is not essential.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

  • Monday - Thursday - 7:45am - 4:30pm,
  • Friday - 7:45am - 1.45pm,
  • 37.5hrs a week.
