HR and Wellbeing Manager

Our client is an award-winning tour operator who sell upmarket Latin America and Expedition bespoke holidays to both direct and direct clients.
They are now seeking a HR and Wellbeing Manager to join the team and provide full HR support to the directors.
This is a standalone role responsible for supervising all HR departmental functions, supporting the recruitment function, executing training programs and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle.
This is an important role in creating a positive people culture and strong customer service ethos within the business.
Extensive experience of HR, recruitment and training is essential as well as being CIPD level 5 qualified.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis with two days a week in the office.
HR and Wellbeing Manager Duties:
Overseeing essential HR departmental aspects such as employee relations, HR administration, internal recruitment, enhancing employee engagement and inductions
Supporting line managers with managing disciplines, grievances, absence and sickness
Ensuring staff records are maintained in the internal HR system
Coordinating the monthly wellbeing newsletter
Being the initial point of contact for newcomers joining the company and for hiring managers
Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
Staying abreast of HR best practice and employment law
HR and Wellbeing Manager Experience Required:
Extensive experience within HR, recruitment and training experience in a similar role
CIPD level 5 qualified
Ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone HR role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Thorough understanding of current employment legislation and best practice
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
The capability to prioritise workflow based on immediate requirements in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
HR and Wellbeing Manager Salary and Benefits:
Base salary to £50,000 based on experience.
Hybrid working model (Office based Tuesday and Thursday)
