A leading manufacturer are searching for a Senior Buyer to join their Buying team.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Buyer you will manage the procurement of materials, goods and services. You will be responsible for ensuring you are optimising the cost , cash and quality of the service.
- Assist with managing the day to day procurement operations
- Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of services provided
- Conduct research to find the best suppliers for product, cost and quality
- Maintain strong supplier relationships
- Work towards all new strategies put into place
- Attend supplier meetings and trade conferences
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager
- Comprehensive understanding of supply chain
- Ad-hoc duties
Your Experince:
- CIPS - Working towards or qualified
- Knowledge within procurement/supply chain or inventory
