You will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of new products and processes, working within a dynamic production environment to support our business goals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Optimise Production: Focus on enhancing safety, cost, quality, and delivery in existing production processes.
- Project Management: Develop and deliver capex projects from inception through to validation.
- Lean Manufacturing: Utilise lean tools such as 5S, Total Productive Maintenance, and value stream mapping to improve efficiency.
- Process Design: Design and manage the introduction of new tooling and fixtures tailored to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Problem Solving: Engage in creative problem-solving to tackle operational challenges including health and safety, efficiency improvements, and quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and support continuous improvement activities, ensuring optimal use of materials, methods, and personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Engineering/Manufacturing degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Ability to produce concise reports and deliver effective presentations.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Lean problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

- Work Hours: Full-time onsite; static day shift (Mon-Thurs 7.30am-4.30pm, Fri 7.30am-12.30pm).
