Overview of the role:

As an HR Business Partner at A-SAFE, you'll be a true generalist who can drive the strategic People agenda alongside being a catalyst for positive change. This role involves partnering with UK and on occasion, some of our Global business leaders, as well as the HR professional family, to drive and deliver HR solutions that maximise people performance in high-performing teams.

You'll play a critical part in delivering People Workstreams within transformational projects and functional strategies. Your focus will also be on increasing leadership and senior manager awareness of our People processes and systems, leading to stronger people management and improved business performance.

You'll be responsible for overseeing a diverse team of 500+ colleagues, primarily consisting of leaders, senior managers, and subject matter experts in their field.

This role requires strategic partnership with a wide variety of key functional teams including close collaboration with central the central HR team to ensure our business needs are met effectively.

You will also be key to the ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our People Team mechanics, fostering an inclusive culture where our teams can belong, act, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement People Plans aligned to business strategy, translating People Strategy into actionable objectives.
  • Support large scale transformation and evolution projects, ensuring the delivery of People Workstream commitments for a competitive and future-fit organisation.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster an inclusive culture.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to optimise workforce planning, ensuring the right skills, roles, and diversity within our teams.
  • Manage talent effectively, creating development plans and facilitating internal advancement through transparent processes.
  • Assist managers with employee relations and performance management matters, promoting proactive performance strategies.
  • Develop a true culture of Learning and Development to establish role profiles, competencies, and career pathways for professional family expertise.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will have:

  • HR generalist experience in areas such as change management, employee relations, talent management, reward, resourcing, L&D, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, commercial acumen, and experience in business partnering.
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable people plans, with excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Oracle HR experience is desirable.
