We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile Banking clients. They are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join them for an initial 9-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension.

Role Purpose:

The TPM Business Analyst will be responsible in supporting the delivery execution of Third Party Management tasks supporting the project's second phase. The Business Analyst will form part of a wider team of delivery focused members (PM, BAs, reporting Analysts); working to produce and embed outputs to ensure TPM compliance against current and future industry standards and frameworks.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Delivery: Ability to lead the delivery of assigned TPM tasks as indicated by the TPM Project Manager. Delivery tasks to support the requirements of agreed phase objectives:

  • Target Operating Model

  • Risk Assessment Optimisation

  • Effective Intragroup Oversight

  • Automation via Tooling

  • Support to other programs e.g. Operational Resilience, ESG, DORA, Sanctions, etc.

  • Embed outcomes into BAU

  • Conduct due diligence on third-parties, including vendors and partners, to determine effectiveness of their controls against information security, privacy, and reputational risks.

  • Identify any discrepancies and provide recommendations to management and businesses.

  • Delivery Outputs: Ability to lead end to end delivery of TPM project tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Governance: Establishment of meetings with EMEA wide stakeholders in order to collate an understanding to requirements and future state design.

  • Reporting: Supporting the delivery of the third party management program, providing updates and completing reporting documentation where required to the current TPM Steerco, TPM Working Group and TPM Workstream meetings.

  • Regulatory Guidance: Ability to interpret TPM guidance/regulatory text, as well as an understanding on the TPM requirements implemented. Able to deliver response options based on industry guidance.

  • Documentation: Responsible for the update and maintenance of the project artefacts including framework, standards and procedures required to demonstrate meeting regulatory requirements and the needs of the other jurisdictions and other risk domains (users for the procedures).

  • Production of operational documentation to support the embedding of new processes into BAU

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Presentation: Ability to produce high quality materials to ensure informed decision-making and information sharing across senior stakeholders
  • Communication: Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. Able to convey complex topics simply and to articulate issues in a way that eases decision making and drives action
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to critically evaluate complex documentation/stakeholder updates for the TPM Project Manager/to wider project forums.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders of various jurisdictions and seniorities - with the ability to influence to gain agreement
  • Third Party Management: Conversant with current and emerging TPRM, Outsourcing and other relevant regulations (e.g. Resilience) across the UK and Europe, their associated (major) regulatory bodies and their implementation in the industry
  • Influence: Able to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exposure / strong understanding of strategic and operational elements of procurement and the synergies with the TPRM process.
  • Documentation: Attention to detail and ability to produce and maintain clear and concise TPRM documentation including polices, frameworks, training materials and guidance.
  • Customer Service: Can do attitude to build and maintain proactive and response service delivery for the region.
  • Technology: Familiar with TPRM tooling as well as use of technology to collaborate, report and maintain processes, controls and training.
  • Project Tooling: Strong expertise with MS Office programs

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 2-3 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
