Your Typical Week:
- Appraise a development land opportunity for potential acquisition, working with the fund and asset managers to assess the nature and extent of market failure. Support business case development with the in-house economist
- Lead on the negotiation of a promotion agreement for a sector development project, supporting the Legal and Finance teams to complete the transaction. Produce robust evidence of progress, efficiency and value for money for the project
- Lead on appointing design and technical consultants during RIBA Stages 0 to 2. Promote health and safety, environmental sustainability and quality management in a positive and constructive manner
- Lead on securing planning and other consents for a town centre refurbishment project, working closely with the Project Manager assigned to the project by ECC's Infrastructure Delivery Directorate
- Advise on the market-facing aspects of a light industrial Grow-on Space development, ensuring that premises meet occupier needs to maximise financial and non-financial outcomes
- Meet with asset and lettings managers to discuss the performance of lettings and disposals at a development of light industrial Grow-on Space units, drawing insights and applying lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement. Proactively identify and manage risks, and prioritise what is most important and urgent.
