Accounts Assistant
to join our dynamic and forward-thinking chartered accountancy firm based in the heart of Ripon. You'll join a well-established team in providing expert accounting and taxation advice to a diverse client base. You'll also have access to study support if you'd like to further your Finance career.
As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will be:
- Preparing accounts and business tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Analysing and recording client data, including bank reconciliations and data input into spreadsheets.
- Inputting data into bookkeeping software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Reviewing client accounting records and verifying income and expenses against invoices.
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT Returns.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Experience in an Accounts position in either practice or industry.
- The ability to follow instructions confidently and accurately.
- A strong attention to detail and the capacity to work efficiently and effectively.
- Proficiency in using Excel.
- A desire to learn and develop your skills.
- The ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
In return as
Accounts Assistant
, you will receive a salary of
£26,000 - £28,000
