The Role: As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite technical support to their clients. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including Cisco and Aruba technologies. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' networks, handling tasks from routine maintenance to complex problem-solving.
Network Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for network infrastructure, including Cisco and Aruba devices.
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and configurations on network hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, and connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with the wider support team to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Travel to client sites within the UK as required, with all expenses covered.
Network Support Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer, ideally within an MSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco and Aruba networking products.
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and network maintenance.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Willingness to travel within the UK as needed.
