Management Accountant
Day to Day of the Role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysis of financial performance and contribution to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
- Assisting with budget preparation and control, plus variance analysis.
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide a support service to the company's finance department and business managers.
- Overseeing tax and compliance, ensuring all statutory and corporate obligations are met.
Management Accountant
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
