Technical Assistant
£24,000 to £26,000 per annum depending on experience
Full time on site, 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Conducting food safety audits and compliance checks against company procedures and SOPs.
- Ensuring paperwork is completed and up to date.
- Preparing and generating relevant reports within specified time frames.
- Liaising with other departments within the business and outside the business.
- Supporting technical department on a day-to-day basis as well as in preparation for and during audits.
- Ensuring a positive food safety culture is adopted each day and leading by example when conducting.
Person Specification:
- A passion for the food industry
- Keen to learn, hardworking and committed to gaining experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Technical or Food Related Qualification or proven relevant experience
