Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a Professional Services Company based in Central Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:
Up to £27,000 plus excellent benefits
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Daily recording of all transactions
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Maintain customer accounts and ensure timely payment, contacting customers accordingly regarding outstanding debt via phone and email
- Allocation of receipts on the accounting software system
- Maintaining/overseeing online banking
- Monitoring the finance inbox and assisting in replying to/resolving queries in a timely manner
- Ensure financial information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders, as required
- Undergo credit checks for new customers
- Produce weekly and monthly debt reports
- Involvement with ad hoc projects
- Other ad hoc finance/administrative tasks as required
Person Specification:
- Experience of working in an accounts receivable/sales ledger/credit control
- Strong communicator and organised
- Good IT skills
- Attention to detail
