Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 DOE

Location: 90% Remote (UK only) - occasional travel to client site (UK) might be required

Clearance Required: SC Clearance (*applicants need to at least be eligible)

This is a great opportunity for a Microsoft Cloud Security Specialist to join a leading Microsoft Gold Partner and work with the latest M365, Azure and emerging cloud / AI technologies. The company specialise in delivering cutting-edge solutions to high-profile government, banking and defence sector customers. Their team is at the forefront of digital transformation, providing secure, innovative cloud infrastructure solutions.

It's a senior role within their cloud security team where you will be helping clients to secure their customers cloud environments. As a business they have a great working culture, pride themselves on team collaboration, and also offer a remote set up with added flexibility around family life and personal commitments. Please note due to the nature of the projects SC Clearance will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert consultancy to clients on M365 and Azure infrastructure, security, and application management.
  • Deliver training sessions to client teams on M365 and Azure solution management, Microsoft 365 Defender, and security best practices
  • Microsoft Intune configuration, including device management, policy enforcement, and application packaging. Ensure smooth deployment of enterprise applications and device configurations across client environments.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure Defender for advanced threat protection.
  • Microsoft Purview: Configuration of retention, DLP and sensitivity label policies in the Microsoft Purview suite

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in managing and/or supporting Microsoft cloud environments within a consultancy environment
  • Ability to present and lead customer workshops for requirements gathering and/or end user training
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender and/or Azure Defender to configure security controls and features across an organisation
  • Microsoft Purview to implement retention, DLP and sensitivity labelling

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-104, or MS-101 are advantageous.
  • One or more of the following: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+ (or similar)
