Requirements

  • QTS qualification-this is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)-this is essential
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Commitment to safeguarding all children
  • Be willing to be fully involved in the life of the school community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that will engage and enthuse learners
  • Have good classroom control and be able to follow the school's behaviour's policy.
  • Be proactive in your teaching approach, with an ability to raise attainment.
  • Commit to developing the personalities, talents, and abilities of all students.
  • Be confident in leading a classroom and working effectively as part of the staff team.
  • Have a willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and a desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities.
