We are shortlisting for a full-time position for a Primary school in Sittingbourne for September, teaching a Y4 class on a temp-to-perm basis and is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
This is a multi-form entry primary school in Sittingbourne and has an Ofsted grade of GOOD. This school is based in a lovely location with beautiful scenery and grounds. The school is very community focused and the parents take great pride in their contribution to this. The school is also accessible via public transport and has onsite parking.
The Role
- Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Y4.
- Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
- Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
- Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
- Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2, Y4 would be highly desirable but not essential.
- Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
- Have right to work in the UK
