Description
The Purchase Ledger Assistant will be responsible for:
- Matching, batching, and coding purchase invoices
- Processing credit notes
- Following up with any missing invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers
- GRNI Analysis
- Query resolution
- Financial administration
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- A proven track record within a busy accounts payable department
- AAT L2 or above (desirable)
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance.
