Finance Business Partner

You will be responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partnering function within an award-winning business that operates nationally and is highly acquisitive.

Specific duties will include preparing management accounts, providing analysis on monthly performance and KPIs, business partnering, acquisitions support and preparing budget detail.

The role will require you to be a qualified or almost qualified accountant, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, and will need strong management accounting, relationship building and project management abilities. The candidate should have a high attention to detail and will be expected to develop a wider knowledge of the role and business.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Management Accounting

  • Production of monthly P&L for the region
  • Maintain robust balance sheet management
  • Provide analysis and insight on monthly performance

2. Business Partnering

  • Collaborate closely with the regional senior management to understand and drive operational performance
  • Provide support on region-specific projects and income opportunities

3. Acquisitions Support

  • Leverage regional knowledge to assist with financial analysis for potential acquisitions
  • Participate in the post-completion integration of acquired businesses
  • Track the performance of acquired businesses against expectation

4. Budgeting

  • Prepare the annual regional budget in collaboration with the regional leadership team
  • Monitor and report on performance vs budget throughout the year
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to address budget variances
