An international law firm is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to lead a newly formed team, ensuring that new technologies and processes are efficiently adopted firm-wide. Key Responsibilities of Pricing Analyst
- Support Pricing Manager with fee arrangements, RFPs, presentations, and internal/external client meetings.
- Model fee structures, prepare budgets, and review pricing reports.
- Manage rate processes within 3E and assist with applying and implementing Rate Sets.
- Provide functional support for Evaluate pricing tool and collaborate with Financial Systems team.
- Offer training and coaching on Evaluate, and help develop matter budgets for partners and fee earners.
- Maintain phase templates and work types, assisting with rate reviews and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Finance teams to enhance client profitability through pricing adjustments.
- Support annual rate-setting and other ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Required Skills of Pricing Analyst
- Experience in pricing/finance, ideally within the legal sector, with knowledge of Aderant or Elite.
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) and advantageous Power BI knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, numerate, proactive, and confident in influencing decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with partners and various teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure environment, managing conflicting priorities effectively.
- Strong project management and analytical skills to support pricing decisions.
