Position: KS2 Primary Class Teacher

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type:Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview:

As a KS2 Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners in Key Stage 2. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of your students. Your role will involve planning and implementing a diverse and inclusive curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities as a Class Teacher:

- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 2.
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans to address the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning environment.
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student achievements and assessments.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 or a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to the well-being and development of students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and enthusiasm for helping young learners succeed.
