Job Description:
As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yard. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring that equipment is ready for hire, and assisting with loading and unloading machinery. This position offers the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
" Equipment Handling: Assist with the loading and unloading of plant machinery and equipment.
" Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks and cleaning of machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
" Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of equipment in and out of the yard.
" Yard Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring a safe working environment.
" Customer Service: Assist customers and drivers with their needs in the yard, providing excellent customer service.
" Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
