As a Production Engineer, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Support Quality and Production teams by implementing robust engineering solutions to overcome process issues. Ensure that repeatable and cost-effective production processes are released and appropriately documented supporting Quality team to ensure that a robust Control Plan is available.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).

Proven experience as a Production Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of

product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors.

  • Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
  • Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
  • Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
  • Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
  • Trouble shoot production concerns and implement improvements required by determining root cause, developing solutions and finally leading implementation.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
