Qualified Social Worker for Assessments Front Line

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of children's needs in line with the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans focused on the child's safety, development, and well-being.
  • Safeguard vulnerable children, ensuring their protection and well-being through appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services to provide comprehensive, child-centered support.
  • Advocate for children's rights, ensuring they have access to essential resources, services, and support networks.
  • Regularly review and update support plans to respond to the child's changing needs and circumstances.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and uphold best practices in safeguarding and child welfare.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience post qualification
  • Action safeguarding procedures
