Payroll Assistant

A dynamic and fast paced payroll position working with a well-respected name within the hospitality industry. This role offers a full-time and permanent contract for an individual who is eager to establish a long-standing career in payroll.

Working within an experienced team, this role would see the successful candidate handle end-to-end payroll for 400+ employees across the UK. You will also gain excellent exposure to reporting responsibilities and reconciliation tasks, where a keen eye for detail is a must.

My client is eager to acquire someone with excellent MS Excel skills and has the desire to deliver outstanding results for stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing end-to-end monthly payroll for 400+ members of staff
  • Managing and resolving payroll queries
  • Creating reporting on start/finish times and hours worked
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Calculating SMP, SSP, SPP including holiday pay
  • Administering pension schemes
  • Supporting Payroll Manager with ad hoc responsibilities

Candidate Proficiencies

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sage experience – desirable
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders
