Responsibilities for the role of Technician - Motor Vehicle
- You will take an active role in supporting staff and students in workshop sessions by providing technical services to support the delivery of the college programmes within our motor vehicle provision
- Proactively work in our motor vehicle workshops and you will use your knowledge, experience and ideas to continuously improve our current processes and procedures with the potential to develop these further to create the best training facilities for the student
- Responsible for providing technical assistance and advice by taking an active role in supporting academic staff and students in all workshop activities
Specifications for the role of Technician - Motor Vehicle
- Must hold a valid and current Craft Certificate (NVQ Level 1) or equivalent in an associated Engineering trade
- Will have had previous experience in the automotive trade in a similar role
- Possess a good understanding of fault-finding repairs and maintenance
- Must be an excellent communicator both verbal and written
