A Mechanical Support Engineer with 2+ years industrial experience will join the European Technical Centre of an established technology company to undertake technical support across their range of automation products as well as delivering training and investigating product claims.
The successful Mechanical Support Engineer will be qualified to Degree level, possess excellent documentation skills as well as strong problem solving abilities.
You must hold a full UK driving license and Passport as you will required to undertake some travel in the UK and Europe.
Requirements for this Mechanical Support Engineer include:
- A 2.1 or higher Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- The ability to use your analytical skills to solve a range of technical problems.
- Good CAD skills, ideally to include SolidWorks.
- Some experience related to machined parts and small assemblies.
- An appreciation of CE, UKCA and UL standards.
- Ability to write detailed technical documentation and reports and deliver training.
- Good to have a basic understanding of electrical engineering.
