Infrastructure Support and Storage Team Leader Key Skills:
We are eager to connect with experienced Infrastructure Team Leaders, Senior Data Storage System Engineers, Senior IT Support Engineers, Technical Support Managers, and other seasoned IT support and infrastructure management professionals.
To excel in this position, you must possess many of the following:
- Deep technical support knowledge of hardware/software for high-end workstations.
- Proficiency in managing large data sets, NAS, SAN and long-term storage.
- Experience with supporting and managing Windows Servers
- Experience with supporting and managing Linux Servers.
- Knowledge/experience with Fibre Channel connections.
- Experience with networking; LAN/WAN.
- A broad understanding of image/sound/video file formats.

About the Infrastructure Support and Storage Team Leader position:
You will be a crucial department member responsible for managing the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This includes providing expert technical support and managing backups, data capacity planning, and the DAMS IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of DAMS and ensuring all components are fully functional.
- Managing and supporting Windows and Linux Servers.
- Providing expert technical knowledge and guidance on Network Operating Systems (Windows Servers), IP and associated network environments.
- Undertaking the development and management of all systems support and administration.
- Managing the flow of large data volumes and ensuring efficient storage solutions.
- Collaborating with IT Operations to resolve internal IT issues.
- Leading and mentoring a team of one, fostering their development and performance.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £50-54,000

Work arrangement: Hybrid. Four days in the office and one day working from home.
