Role: Project Manager
Salary: Circa £60,000 Depending On Experience
Location: Cambridge With Occasional Overseas Travel (Not Enforced)
Duration: Permanent Role
Shifts: 40 Hour Week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the progress on multiple projects and co-ordinating necessary actions with the team.
  • Collaborate closely with the line manager on customer deployment projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, producing progress reports as needed.
  • Review, design, and create engineering drawings for project execution using CAD software
  • Oversee system installation, commissioning, and integration,
  • Address customer queries and concerns during project execution.
  • Serve as the primary conduit between customers and the central team.
  • Actively participate in fieldwork for smooth deployment.
  • Complete and track required acceptance tests and provide support to deployment teams.
  • Travel as needed for projects (option to stay home based)
  • Train customers and new employees on system build and installation processes

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Track record in project management and engineering in the Oil & Gas industry (or similar)
  • Relevant Engineering degree or good level of experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of reading and producing detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks software packages.
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management principles (e.g. PRINCE2).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programme, i.e. Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service and conflict management skills
  • Hands-on team management skills and experience in leading multicultural and multiskilled teams
