Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant
About the Role:
Due to the company's growth, our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations and general office duties for two companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations using Xero across multiple accounts
- Bookkeeping: accurately and timely entry of supplier invoices into financial software
- Monitor the accounts inbox
- Process expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Address supplier and customer queries
- Assist with credit control
- Contribute to the preparation of month-end reports
- Perform other finance-related duties as needed
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Xero or similar bookkeeping software
- Experience working in an office environment
- Strong numerical accuracy
- Positive, self-motivated individual with initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Job Details:
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £24,000.00 - £26,000.00 per year
