Vacancy Description:

As an IT Support Engineer your main duties will involve the following:

  • Provide first-line support to Concorde clients, managing and resolving IT-related issues via our online ticketing system.
  • Efficiently handle Service Desk calls, aiming to resolve simple issues promptly during initial contact.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and isolate complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Actively participate in technical forums and projects, representing the company with expertise and professionalism.
  • Document and implement technical processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential and Desirable Skills for an Apprentice Technician:

  • Strong interest in IT and technology
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues..
  • Professional demeanour in all interactions, reflecting positively on the company.

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
