Student Reception Administrator Punctuality, Behaviour, & Enrichment Focus

We are seeking a dedicated Student Receptionist Administrator with a (Punctuality, Behaviour, & Enrichment Focus) to join a dynamic team within this East London Academy.

This role is crucial for maintaining effective administrative services related to punctuality, child protection, behaviour, and student engagement.

The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people in line with Every Child Matters agenda and Child Protection procedures.

Hourly Rate: £14-16.00ph (PAYE)

Location: Onsite (No Hybrid Opportunity)

Job Type: Full-time

Temporary / Term Time +10days

Working Hours: Mon/Wed/Thurs 08:00 - 15:30, Tue/Fri 08:00 - 16:00 (30min lunch break)

Start Date: ASAP or after half-term break

Punctuality Support Duties:

Maintain punctuality records and manage data entry on the academy's management information system.

Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies on punctuality matters.

Oversee latecomers, manage late detentions, and ensure all related data is recorded accurately.

Produce and distribute punctuality reports and communications as directed.

Behaviour and Engagement Support Duties:

Enter Senior Staff on Duty call-out information accurately into the management system and produce related correspondence.

Administer student rewards and produce reports.

Produce resources to promote positive behaviour, safety, and rewards.

Support and supervise the student immunisation programme.

Enrichment Support Duties:

Coordinate and publicise a programme of club activities.

Manage club attendance registers and produce reports as directed.

Student Reception Duties:

Provide a supportive and effective student reception service.

Maintain accurate student records and support with data changes.

Report any concerns about student welfare using the appropriate systems.

Cover main reception duties as required and support with admissions processes.

General Administration Duties:

Undertake shared general administrative tasks as required.

Produce documents, presentations, and manage databases.

Liaise professionally with staff, students, visitors, and external agencies.

Administer first aid and participate in professional development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent administrative and organisational skills.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience with SIMS database and management information systems.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
