Role: Before and After School Club Assistant
Pay: £13 to £16 per hour
Location: Various Across Teesside
Empowering Learning are looking for committed, reliable and enthusiastic Before and After School Club Assistants around Teesside ready for Schools re-opening in September 2024. Start times are generally 7.15 - 9.00am for the morning session and 3.00 - 6.00pm for the after school club.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to be a positive role model when dealing with children, parents, carers and other members of staff.
- Motivate and encourage children to participate in activities.
- Help prepare nutritional snacks for children.
- Ensuring the welfare and safety of children.
- Keep a clean and tidy environment ensuring Health and Safety practices are adhered to at all times.
- Help children with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
Skills:
- Experience of working with children.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
- Able to adapt to different needs of the children and handle challenging behaviour.
- Enthusiasm, patience and a positive attitude towards children.
