Transport/ Goods In Coordinator - WEYMOUTH
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organising and planning of loads for local deliveries.
- Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislations and procedures to do with tachographs
- Maintain accurate administrative records
- Liaising with yard operatives and drivers to ensure correct products, quantities, locations and timings.
- Dealing with goods in and out paperwork
- Handling general queries by phone and in writing
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in the merchant industry would be preferable
- Proven track record in working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of effectively running a successful transport function
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
