Job Purpose
- Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring monthly bookkeeping is completed to a high standard
- Performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining sales ledgers, preparing supplier payment runs, and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Ensuring transactions are accurately processed in client books
- Preparing monthly/quarterly management reports and VAT returns
- Supporting clients in their journey towards Making Tax Digital
- Assisting senior accountants with year-end accounts and tax return preparation for various entities
- Helping with administrative tasks to support the practice

What are we looking for?
- Proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, Outlook, and Excel
- A strong understanding of double entry, VAT, and UK tax laws
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and virtually, to interact with clients confidently
- The ability to work independently, with support available from accountants and client managers when needed
- A team-oriented attitude, ready to collaborate and contribute
