Site Engineer

Are you a site engineer looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience working for a civil engineering contractor on infrastructure projects? Would you like a long term role on a large infrastructure scheme in the Norwich area? Then we may have the right role for you!

As a Site Engineer you will be expected to take responsibility of the site based works of the section you are operating in. You will be reporting to the Section Engineer and will effectively monitor and supervise site works including subcontract packages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Review designs and raise any queries to your Section Engineer.Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section.

Contribute to the project 4-week lookahead programme weekly for your works.

Work with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site works

Review the supply chain application for payments for your Package

Ensure accurate quality records are delivered in a progressive manner as construction works are complete

Ensure quality records are captured and stored correctly.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current and relevant CSCS Card
  • Able to display experience in a similar role working with a main contractor
  • A relevant degree or HND/HNC certificate in civils (or equivalent is preferable)
