Receptionist

We are looking for a part-time receptionist to work in the Create Centre in Bristol.

Monday, Thursday & Friday 08:45am - 16:45pm.

This is a contract running from end of August until March 2025.

Duties will include:

  • Be the first point of contact for all customers to CREATE - general public, conference and meeting room attendees, visitors to offices and school parties.
  • Recieve and process all meeting room conference bookings - personal, telephone or electronic and set up meeting rooms and refreshments.
  • Undertake general office duties to include, sorting post, checking and accepting deliveries, photocopying, monitoring/ordering stationary and goods and publications for sale, cash handling and reconciliation of petty cash.
  • Respond to a range of telephone, electronic and face to face enquiries from a variety of source (internal/external) either directly or in more complex cases by referral to an appropriate department.
  • Operate the fire and intruder alarm system and locking down. Monitor and issue keys, report maintenance issues, act as a fire warden and first aider.
  • Operate a computer to maintain spreadsheets and databases.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs to include English and Maths.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise efficiently.
  • Confident with computers and the all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
