Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Recovery Manager on behalf of our esteemed client in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic direction and operational leadership in corporate recovery and insolvency cases, ensuring the best outcomes for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate recovery and insolvency cases from inception to completion, including administration, liquidation, and receivership.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and assess the viability of distressed companies.
- Develop and implement recovery strategies to maximize asset realization and creditor returns.
- Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, legal advisors, and company directors to communicate strategies and progress.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate recovery and insolvency, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex insolvency cases and a thorough understanding of insolvency legislation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and develop recovery plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams and projects.
