Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Recovery Manager on behalf of our esteemed client in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic direction and operational leadership in corporate recovery and insolvency cases, ensuring the best outcomes for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage corporate recovery and insolvency cases from inception to completion, including administration, liquidation, and receivership.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and assess the viability of distressed companies.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maximize asset realization and creditor returns.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, legal advisors, and company directors to communicate strategies and progress.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate recovery and insolvency, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing complex insolvency cases and a thorough understanding of insolvency legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and develop recovery plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams and projects.

Skills and Attributes:

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient in the use of insolvency software and MS Office Suite.
