£36,000 - £49,000 – depending on certifications and experience
50hrs a week
We are looking for several Civil Operatives to join our Highways Infrastructure clients. The role will be covering the Midlands and occasionally further afield, with a salary between £36,000 - £49,000 depending on experience and certifications. Role will require the occasional nights and weekends.

- Working Foreman
Responsibilities for Civil Operatives
- General civils works - Working at height, Lantern installation, Sign erection, Duct laying, Reinstatement, Cabling and Groundwork.
- Construction of chambers to highway & utility specifications
- Making sure all installations being completed to the correct standard
- Excavation
- Building of cabinet/feeder pillar sites
- Operating heavy plant or wagons
- Follow health and safety policies/procedures
- Trail holes/hand excavation if required
- Identifying risks and problems on site with the ability to provide pro-active solution's
Requirements for Civil Operatives
- Able to undertake manual work including manual trenching cable laying etc
- Happy working night shifts and away from home if required
- Take part in all training provided
- Understanding of Health and Safety policies/procedures
- Able to work as part of a team with good communication skills
- HERS registered / a CSCS Card Holder
- Showing a high level of understanding of working upon high-speed roads, traffic signs, highway lighting and/or highway technology, associated civils works.
- Full UK Driving Licence
